Yvette W Holmes

Yvette Wynita Holmes affectionately known as “PIE”. Was born on December 31,1965 at Chester Hospital in Chester Pa. to Winston R Holmes, Sr and Mary F Wesley (Ronald). She departed this life on December 18, 2021 at Taylor Hospital in Ridley Twp. Pie was a resident of Chester Pa all of her life. Pie was educated at St. Michael’s Catholic School and received her High School diploma from Penncrest High School in Media Pa. To further her education Pie attended Kathryn Gibbs Secretarial School in Wilmington De. the early 90’s, where she received her certificate. She also earned a certificate as a certified nursing assistant in the mid 90’s from Fair Acres Geriatric Center. Pie held various jobs in healthcare, sales and in the childcare industries Where she used her bright and bubbly personality. Pie was a member of New Bethe Pie was charismatic, outgoing, funny, a rebel rouser as well as a social butterfly. Pie knew “EVERYBODY” Her famous slogans were “ Does anybody wanna know who Pie is!, Sit Down Clown! And Get da Steppin’ (in her Martin voice). Pie’s favorite foods was steak and her Mom’s Curry Chicken. Her hobbies were going to the movies with her fiance’ John, braiding hair and playing crossword puzzles. Pie also enjoyed reading novels, celebrity gossip tabloids, magazines and watching Martin as well as game shows. Pie loved to sing, especially in the My Ebenezer Family Church choir. She was an active member of New Hope Church in Brookhaven Pa. Where she attended regularly. Pie leaves to cherish her memory for her mother Mary F Wesley of Brookhaven Pa, father Ronald D Wesley of Brookhaven Pa and biological father Winston R Holmes Sr. of New York NY, two sons Jerae’ Holmes and Leroy Holmes both of Chester Pa. Sister Monifa S Holmes of Brookhaven Pa. Stepsisters Rona Wesley of Chester Pa, Roslyn Edge(Micheal) of Delaware City, De. Brother Winston R Holmes Jr(Alicia) of Coatesville, Pa. Stepbrothers Rasheed Wesley(Charnetta) of Atlanta, Ga. Abdullah Fitzgerald(Kelly) of Chester, Pa. She is loved and admired by her five grandchildren Jariya Holmes, Javon Holmes-Noble, Aviery Bentley, Ava Marii Bentley, Levii Holmes Bentley and her adorable adopted cat Cinnamon. And a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
