Dana Vicario

July 6, 1962 - November 20, 2019

Dana Marie Vicario of Bear, Delaware passed away peacefully in the presence of her family on Tuesday, November 20, 2019. She was 57. Dana was born on July 6, 1962 in Philadelphia, PA to Daniel and Bernice Vicario. She moved to Upper Darby at the age of 16 and attended Upper Darby High School. She then graduated, became a mother, and later went to Cabrini College to earn her Associates and on to Wilmington University to earn her Bachelors. In 2010 she obtained a position as a Claims Adjustor for PMA Companies Old Republic Insurance Group. She maintained a position there for 9 years. Dana had a devotion for rescue dogs, and she especially loved beagles. Dana is survived by her son Michael Clifford, her parents Daniel and Bernice Vicario, two siblings Michelle (& Dave) Mellor, and Daniel B. (& Deanna) Vicario II. She is also survived by her Aunt Linda Centrella. Dana was a loving aunt to John (& Vicky) Leonard, Daniel B. Vicario the III, Danielle Smith, Alyssa Mellor, and Christina Vicario. She also had 3 great nephews and 2 great nieces. Dana is preceded in death by both her grandmothers Mary (Petrino) Pacifico, Blanche (Nanni) Vicario and grandfather Daniel Joseph Vicario. She leaves behind her beloved dog Benny the beagle. Relatives and friends are invited to Dana’s Funeral services which will be held on Wednesday November 27, 2019 at the Spruce Street Baptist Church, 3701 Gradyville Rd. Newtown Square, PA 19073. Visitation is from 9:00 am -10:45 am. A church service will follow at 11:00 am. Burial will commence at 1:00 pm at the Holy Cross Cemetery, 626 Baily Rd Yeadon, PA 19050.
