Tamara Church

Tamara “Bucky” Church youngest of four children was born to Kathy Church and James Chambers on September 4th, 1982. She peacefully ascended to heaven on March 4th, 2022. Tamara received her early education in the Delaware school system, attending Forrest Oaks Elementary, Conrad Middle, A. I. High School, and Red Rock Job Corps where she received her High School Diploma. Tamara also accomplished her occupational goal, earning her Certified Nursing Assistant Certification at Red Rock Job Corps. This allowed her to fulfill her passion of caring for others, working at various nursing facilities throughout Delaware. She was scheduled to return to work just prior to her passing at the Gilpin Hall Nursing Facility, where she was loved by the residents, administrators and her peers. Tamara Loved the Lord and had a strong Faith in Jesus. She attended Church services with her Mother Kathy from an early age and later went on to attend religious services with her children. Tamara affectionately known as “Bucky” was beautiful, warm hearted and had a smile that could light up a room. She loved drawing, getting dressed up, putting on her makeup and spending time with her family and friends. But what she loved the most in this world was being a Mother and caring for her babies. Memories will be forever cherished and carried on by her children: Leeaira and Leeamya Langston, Malachi Church and Trevoni King. Her Father James Chambers, siblings Cathy, Raheen-bey (Ieisha) Church, Corey and Shawn Clark, Nieces and Nephews: Tanaija, Ai'zurri, Nevaeh-Skye, Ai'king-bey Church, and Armani Nickerson. Great-Nephews: Jermere, Jermiah and Jermari Lott, and Jamari Oglesby. Maternal Grandmother, Henrietta Church, Uncles Marlando, Ronald (Paula), Anthony and Andre Church. Best friends Ebony, Neelisha and Tracey King, and a host of relatives, neighbors and friends. She was proceeded in death by her Mother Kathy Church, brother Tyrone Church, Grandfather Joseph Church, Fraternal Grandmother Evelyn Chambers, Aunt Andrea and Uncle Gary Church and Jason Langston, Father of her daughters. Funeral services are being held privately.
