Quiana M Woodley

A life Gone Too Soon! Quiana Monique Woodley, daughter of Bobbi LaReine (Woodley) Urbannavage and stepdaughter to Paul Peter Urbannavage, was called home by the Glory of our LORD, God Almighty. She leaves behind one sister, Sharvon Paula (Urbannavage) Hales who will truly miss her beloved big sister. Quiana began her early childhood education, while traveling with her parents, during her father's military service duty and commitment. When her family returned to the United States in 1985, that is when she began the process of continued education from Darby Township Elementary, to Academy Park High School, of Sharon Hill, Pa. Quiana demonstrated a dedication and work ethics from the first graduation of high school, to her college degrees from Delaware County Community College, of Media, Pa. She received her Associate Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Hotel & Restaurant Management. She was very particular about what she liked and what she wanted for her life. Though her perspective on life was created in her spirit. She was very drawn to her African American Roots. She always dreamed and envisioned one day visiting the “Motherland” of Africa. Despite her mid-adulthood illness, she pushed forward in living the best life possible, the life given by God Himself, created in His image. Quiana, had a flare for interior design, which depicted many paths and roots from what she conceived as a black woman living in America. She expressed her own creativity in how she lived, showing her heart's desire of African Heritage and strong beginnings. Quiana was only 45 at the time of her passing. She committed most of her career as an International Shipping and Fulfillment specialist. At the age of 19, she started her career at Brokers Worldwide, now known as Asendia USA, located in Folcroft, Pa, where she remained with the company for over 22 years. Quiana comes from a family with high teachings of values, memories, humor and laughter, but most importantly, a family who prays together, is a family who stays together. We pray together, until the very end. Quiana loved to express her creativity, but her favorite hobby was collecting footwear and handbags. She loved shopping! She loved music and dancing, and spent many years going to Philadelphia and New York nightclubs with her sister and friends. Her body, mind and spirit were determined to make the best life, no matter the situation or her circumstances. Quiana was true and held on courageously until the light of her world diminished and the eternal light of heaven guided her home. Quiana leaves to cherish her deepest memory: her mother, Bobbi L. Urbannavage, father, Paul P. Urbannavage, sister, Sharvon P. Hales (Said Hales). Three Aunts, Gayle R. Simmons, Rhonda L. Saunders and Nia Bey-McCall. One Uncle, Alan D. McCall, and many first, second and third generations of cousins. She now dwells in the house of the Lord, with her grandmother Ruth C. Kelly, uncles, Conrad Simmons and Joseph Saunders, and she laughs and smiles with her cousins, Kevin Woodley and Ahlan McCall. Left to remember her are friends and coworkers who shared her life until the year 2019, when the pandemic entered the lives of so many. When you think of her from this day forward, try to smile with love in your heart. A heart that beats, a heart that stopped.
